O mnie:
I was born and raised in a small, ordinary Ukrainian village with one church, a tiny shop, and breathtakingly beautiful nature. My childhood was surrounded by landscapes, rolling hills, and beloved farm animals.
During difficult times, my family worked hard in the garden and with our small household, while I would always run to paint in the evenings and on weekends. It was my greatest comfort and form of rest.
Only at the age of 16 did I discover oil paints. I bought the simplest and cheapest ones and tried this craft for the first time. Later, I learned that in a neighboring village there was a painter who sometimes took students to teach them. That is where I truly discovered myself.
It was something extraordinary. When I painted, I forgot the entire world. No matter how much I was encouraged to paint something modern, and no matter how much I tried, it never felt right to me.
Only this forgotten technique, almost no longer used today, and only these landscapes that inspire me give me a sense of life, freedom, and the feeling that the world is truly breathing.
I do not aspire to become famous or to be recognized with words like “that’s her…”. I simply want to show people a part of myself and share the beauty of nature and art that I feel within.
That is why I do not seek publicity and do not reveal my name. But it warms my heart to think that my works may inspire someone, lift their mood, and bring a small piece of warmth to people like me.
